Permanent Vacancy: Learning Support Assistant (SEN) – Secondary School (Part-Time)

Salary: £19,000 – £21,000 per annum (Pro Rata)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We're looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join a supportive and inclusive Secondary School environment on a part-time, permanent basis in Rugby.

✨ About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with SEN


  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment


  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to support student development


  • Assist in delivering adapted lessons and managing behaviour


    ✅ Requirements:

    • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)


    • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach


    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


    • A genuine passion for education and supporting learners with additional needs


      Ideal for:

      • Individuals with classroom support experience


      • Psychology/education graduates


      • Aspiring teachers or SEN specialists looking to gain valuable experience


        All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
