We are recruiting for an Information Rights Manager to provide guidance and support to all Ministry of Defence (MOD) staff on the correct handling of Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulations enquiries.
You will be responsible for:
Providing critical support and guidance on the delivery of Information Rights legislation under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).
Ensuring the accurate logging and allocation of requests to focal points throughout the MOD.
Engaging with other Government Departments to determine best practice.
Building and maintaining relationships with the MOD FOI Focal points across the Department.
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach and best practice is shared and adopted.
