Summary
Are you ready to shape the future of the MOD’s digital services? This role is a unique opportunity to use your digital expertise and significantly impact the MOD's mission-critical operations.
We are looking for a service owner to be an interface between delivery and key stakeholders. You’ll work alongside the Product Manager and other leads to ensure and measure achievement of business outcomes user success and taxpayers’ value for money. This requires strategic vision combined with communication and relationship management skills.
Step into the role of Service Owner and seize the opportunity to:
Challenge demands when they are not clear or aligned to Defence objectives, whilst also demonstrating how your service(s) supports these objectives and plan how you can keep increase the value of your contribution.
Create and communicate a compelling service vision, and road map ensuring the right balance of meeting business, and user objectives and managing technical risk.
Represent a service area to departmental board-level officials and senior stakeholders, using information from diverse user, commercial and service sources.
Design user adoption strategies with trusted partner vendors, including training, communications, and feedback loops and champion digital workplace.
Balance the needs of competing stakeholders, ensuring that services are valuable and effective for the organisation.
Establish metrics that can be used to assess value delivered, business benefit and user satisfaction.
Lead on service governance and participate in service assessments.
