Talent Education is urgently recruiting a dedicated SEMH Learning & Behaviour Support Specialist to join a welcoming primary school in Bury. This is a powerful opportunity to support pupils who need consistency, patience, and someone who genuinely believes in their potential.

In this rewarding position, you will:
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Support engagement with classroom learning and daily routines
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team to deliver tailored support plans
- Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive social interactions
- Help create and maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
You'll play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers and re-engage with their learning journey.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Has worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (desirable)
- Brings a calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Communicates effectively and works well within a team
- Has experience with Read Write Inc. (RWI) or phonics (advantageous but not essential)
- A dedicated consultant who understands your experience and career goals
- Opportunities to work in supportive and well-resourced schools
