A supportive Primary SEMH specialist school in Bolton is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support. Join a dynamic and nurturing support team as a SEN Behaviour Mentor at this forward-thinking Bolton SEMH school.

The Role - SEN Behaviour Mentor

In this SEN Behaviour Mentor role, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working 1:1 and in small groups to help them engage with learning and develop positive behaviours.

A key focus will be on behaviour management, using consistent, structured approaches to support emotional regulation and de-escalate challenging situations. You will build strong relationships with pupils, acting as a calm and positive role model who provides stability and encouragement throughout the school day.

You will support children with needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma-related behaviours, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop essential life skills.
