Talent Education is seeking a passionate and resilient Emotional Wellbeing & Behaviour Support Partner to join a welcoming primary school in Bury. This role focuses on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs - helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
This isn't just a classroom role - it's about becoming a trusted adult, a positive influence, and a key part of a child's journey toward success.
In this impactful position, you will:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Help pupils develop emotional awareness, self-regulation, and positive behaviour strategies
- Support children in staying engaged with classroom routines and learning activities
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team to deliver personalised support plans
- Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive peer relationships
- Create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment where pupils feel secure and understood
- Has experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Has worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (desirable)
- Brings a calm, patient, and resilient approach - even in challenging situations
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils naturally
- Communicates effectively and thrives as part of a team
- Has experience with Read Write Inc. (RWI) or phonics (a bonus, not essential)
