Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised, one-to-one GCSE tuition
- Support students with SEN across English, Maths, and/or Science
- Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets where applicable
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students
- Promote engagement, confidence, and academic progress
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE-level students
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching strategies effectively
- Relevant qualifications (QTS desirable but not essential)
Experience supporting students with SEMH needs or those out of education is highly desirable.
