Summary
About the Role:
As a GCSE Tutor, you will provide tailored one-to-one or small group tuition to students preparing for their GCSE exams. You will focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and helping students achieve their full potential, with a particular emphasis on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured GCSE lessons in subjects such as Maths, English, or Science
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with SEN
- Assess student ability and create personalised learning plans
- Support exam preparation, revision techniques, and coursework
- Track and report on student progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE level
- Proven experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach to teaching
Pay:
£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience
