A BS4 primary school is seeking a resilient and empathetic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
This child is bright and capable but struggles with emotional regulation. Some days are brilliant. Others need careful de-escalation and a calm reset.
You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support, help manage behaviour triggers, and build positive coping strategies.
The school has a clear behaviour policy and values relationship-based practice. You won't be left figuring it out alone.
