Crynodeb
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to join our Acute Paediatric team at The Royal Oldham Hospital. We are looking for a dietitian who is keen to develop their experience and skills working with children in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Previous paediatric experience is desirable but not essential and a band 5 to band 6 development post would be considered for the right candidate. You will be supported by the Advanced Paediatric Dietitians but also be part of the wider acute dietetic team of 25 individuals.
A practical assessment will form part of the interview, therefore interviews will be to be conducted in person not remotely.
Provide the dietetic service to the 33 bedded inpatient children's ward
Undertake a weekly outpatient clinic
Receive training on the management of neonates and participate in the service provided to the level 3 neonatal unit alongside specialist dietitians
Attend departmental meetings as required
Participate in the training of student dietitians and other healthcare professionals
Undertake audits and work alongside others on the development of policies and guidelines
Participate in the paediatric team CPD and clinical supervision sessions
