A primary school in M19 is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work across Key Stage 2. This full‑time position begins immediately and will run until the end of the academic year.
The role involves supporting pupils who present challenging behaviours, require emotional regulation support, or benefit from consistent adult guidance. You will work both 1:1 and with small groups, helping children develop positive routines, coping strategies, and confidence within school life. You will collaborate with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers to ensure tailored support plans are followed.
The school needs someone resilient, calm under pressure, firm but nurturing, and able to build strong, trusting relationships quickly. Experience working with children with behavioural needs, SEMH, or within a similar school‑based role is highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for pupils who need additional stability and support.
