Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement structured business development strategies across UK , Europe and US markets.
• Identify and secure new distributors, wholesalers, and retail partnerships.
• Coordinate production planning with overseas manufacturing facility.
• Oversee export/import processes and compliance documentation.
• Supervise quality control and product compliance standards.
• Manage key client relationships and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, revenue projections, and performance reports.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and international events.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in business development or international trade.
• Experience in the equestrian, saddlery, sporting goods, or related trading sector.
• Experience managing end-to-end commercial processes.
• Strong understanding of export/import operations.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing facilities.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Business, Management, International Trade or equivalent experience.
