Koala North West is recruiting for a Family Support Worker based in Wirral.
Koala North West have been successfully supporting families for 26 years and we are looking for someone who is passionate about the quality of services available for families with children aged 0-11 years.

Job Title: Family Support Worker
Office Base: Koala North West Hub, Woodchurch Lane, Prenton, CH42 9PH
Hours: Part time - 15 hours per week
Salary: £10,491 per annum (actual), FTE - £24,479 (meets Real Living Wage amounts)
Purposes of the Job
• As a Family Support Worker, you will visit families in their homes to provide continued support following a step-down from a Child Protection Plan to a Child in Need Plan. Your role will be to help families sustain positive engagement with professionals, attend relevant meetings, and connect with local community resources.
• You will play a key role in ensuring that families feel supported after the involvement of a Parent Advocate has ended, promoting stability and helping to ensure their ongoing needs are met in a coordinated and compassionate manner.
• To build good working relationships with referrers and other agencies to ensure the provision of the most effective and appropriate support for families
• To have a flexible approach in working as part of a team
• To work in collaboration with Parent Advocates
