We’re looking for a proactive and confident Workplace Engagement Officer to strengthen partnerships across the city and increase participation in our wellbeing and leisure programmes.

In this exciting role:

You’ll build strong relationships with local employers, education providers, health services and community organisations.
You’ll promote a wide range of programmes, including physical activity, smoking cessation, weight management and pain management, helping people live healthier, more active lives.
You’ll plan and deliver engagement events, support marketing campaigns, develop tailored engagement plans and act as an ambassador for Wellbeing & Leisure Services at community and business forums. You’ll bring experience in health, leisure, community or wellbeing settings, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and inspire others.
You’ll be confident working with diverse partners, delivering presentations, and using digital tools to track engagement and measure impact.
Working for Stoke-on-Trent City Council means joining a supportive, forward‑thinking team within the Public Health, Protection & Wellbeing Directorate, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the health of our communities.
