As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of the students you work with. In this full-time position, you'll be the driving force behind our client's mission to create a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for their students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small-group mentoring sessions to support students' behavioural, emotional, and social development
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement tailored behaviour support plans
- Facilitating interactive workshops and engaging activities that promote self-awareness, conflict resolution, and positive coping strategies
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Serving as a positive role model and a trusted confidant for the young people in your care

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, with the ability to empathise and connect with students from diverse backgrounds

- Exhibit a calm, patient, and non-judgmental demeanour, able to diffuse tense situations and guide students towards positive behavioural changes
- Bring a solutions-focused mindset, continuously seeking innovative ways to support students and overcome challenges
- Have a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people, driven by a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to social-emotional learning
