Description
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Hub Manager WCR 3 MID to lead our operations within a key regional hub. This role is critical in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our logistics and supply chain processes, ensuring that we meet and exceed our operational targets in a fast-paced environment. The Hub Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team, optimizing workflows, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. As the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, your leadership will be paramount in streamlining operations and fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations in the hub, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operational staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and satisfactory service levels.
Implement process improvements and operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on hub performance for upper management.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of stock and materials within the hub.
Liaise with vendors and partners to facilitate smooth operations and negotiate beneficial agreements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a positive work environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
