The Coroner’s Administrative and Office Support WCR 2 MID position plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the Coroner's office, providing essential administrative assistance for a range of functions related to death investigations. Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for the Coroner's office, responding to inquiries from the public and other agencies.
Maintain and organize records and files related to death investigations and autopsies.
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation necessary for legal proceedings.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the Coroner and staff as needed.
Input and update data into specialized databases and software programs to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate the distribution of case files and reports to relevant stakeholders, including law enforcement and attorneys.
Provide general administrative support such as filing, faxing, and data entry to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in administrative support preferred.
Demonstrated experience in office administration or support roles, ideally in a legal or healthcare environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse individuals and groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Hours Per Week: 36.00

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £19.98
