Crynodeb
Home Office Digital designs, builds and develops services for the rest of the department and for government. Every year our systems support up to 3 million visa applications, checks on 100 million border crossings, up to 8 million passport applications and deliver 140 million police checks on people, vehicles and property.
The Business Change Manager works proactively to ensure the business is prepared and ready to adopt and embed new ways of working, enabling realisation of project or programme benefits.
As a Business Change Manager, you will be a confident collaborator, building strong stakeholder relationships. This includes agreeing and assuring co-ordinated business change activities using recognised business change tools and methodologies.
Demonstrating excellent communication skills, you will create support for change, understand impacts, and implement identified activities required for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible and effective leadership by leading delivery of the full suite of business change activities within the project, supporting business case benefits and outcomes in an inclusive and respectful manner.
- Provide line management where required, and offer expert business change advice, coaching and support to develop skills and achieve high performance.
- Champion best practice by enhancing stakeholders' understanding of change and recognising their contribution to successful delivery.
- Prepare and update business change elements of the Business Case, and lead creation of required products, defining the approach and applying appropriate tools and methodology based on scale and scope.
- Ensure all business change activity is completed on time and to appropriate standards to facilitate adoption of change, assessing impacts enabling mitigation planning.
- Create and maintain the change plan, driving delivery progress, monitoring and reporting through governance, and identifying business readiness criteria to assess readiness to go live with stakeholders.
- Support identification of benefits and plan for benefits realisation, working with the project team to ensure adoption of new capabilities.
- Create and maintain the project communications plan, ensuring communications are clear and accessible, and manage stakeholders by identifying, analysing, and engaging them to influence adoption and foster strong change networks.

Working Pattern
Due to the business requirements of this role, it is only available on a full-time basis. However, compressed hours are available.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required to other Home Office locations. Any associated costs will be reimbursed in line with Home Office policy.
