We’re looking for a Midweight Digital UX Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work across a range of digital projects for retail and financial services clients, including new websites, complex decision-based journeys and ongoing optimisation work. You’ll help produce original ideas in response to creative briefs, design websites and digital journeys, and contribute to conversion-focused (CRO) solutions that balance strong visual craft with usability, performance and commercial impact.

You’ll be comfortable owning design tasks end-to-end, from early concepts through to high-fidelity design and delivery. Working closely with UX designers, developers and QA, you’ll support the overall creative output of the studio by delivering thoughtful, high-quality digital design. The work spans both ongoing, high-volume consumer-facing products and promotions, as well as more complex, form-heavy and journey-led experiences where clarity, accessibility and decision-making are critical.

A strong focus of the role is UX problem-solving. You’ll be expected to understand user needs and business challenges, identify issues within journeys or flows, and translate those insights into clear, usable and creative design solutions. This includes working on forms, multi-step journeys and optimisation activity, contributing to CRO-led initiatives through iteration, testing and refinement. You’ll also take part in research-led work, contributing to competitor analysis, journey reviews and insight gathering to help inform design decisions.

From a tooling perspective, you’ll work primarily in Figma and should be confident using components, variants, auto layout, shared libraries and prototyping as part of collaborative design workflows. You’ll also use Photoshop and Illustrator on occasion for light image editing, asset preparation and production-ready outputs. Designing mobile-first, responsive experiences and ensuring designs are feasible, accessible and ready for development is a key part of the role.

You’ll regularly prepare and deliver presentation materials for external use, including client concepts and case studies, and may support client presentations and design discussions where appropriate. While you’ll be trusted to work independently on defined tasks and projects, you’ll always have support and guidance from senior team members and will be encouraged to ask questions, challenge ideas and continue developing your craft.

This role is well suited to a designer who has moved beyond junior execution and is ready to take more ownership, while remaining curious, collaborative and keen to grow. You should have around two to four years’ experience in a digital design role, either agency-side or in-house, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates digital-first work, UX thinking and the ability to deliver effective design solutions. A passion for design, attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure are essential.

Oxara London is a remote-first agency with optional hybrid working in London. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment, exposure to the full digital delivery lifecycle from concept to optimisation, and the opportunity to work on meaningful, performance-driven digital projects with room to grow and progress.
