Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ASW - NQ Social Worker with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Learning Disabilities Community (LD Comm) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and their families. You will engage with clients to assess their needs, develop and implement personalized care plans, and advocate for their rights to ensure they receive the necessary resources and support. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to determine their needs and eligibility for services.
Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
Advocate for clients’ rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community organizations to foster support networks.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to shared decision-making processes.
Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of social work and learning disabilities to improve service delivery.
Requirements
A recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work) and up to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
Demonstrated understanding of learning disabilities and the related legislation and policies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a demanding caseload effectively.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £22.30
Location: North London, London
