Location: Moor Lane, KT9
Hours: 36 per week (09:00 – 17:15)
Start Date: 05/01/2026
End Date: ongoing
Closing Date: 02/01/2026 at 17:00 Pay Rates: £29.70 PAYE / £39.04 Umbrella IR35 Status: Inside IR35

The Role
This locum post offers an opportunity to join the Children with Disabilities team, providing specialist social work support to children, young people, and their families. You will play a key role in safeguarding, care planning, and promoting positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake assessments and develop care plans for children with disabilities.
Provide direct support to families, ensuring services meet individual needs.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote wellbeing.
Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Contribute to team development and uphold best practice standards.
Candidate Requirements
Recognised Social Work degree or equivalent professional qualification.
SWE Registration.
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience within an English local authority.
Preferably experienced in Children with Disabilities services.
Ability to work in the office at Moor Lane 3 days per week (5 days during induction).
