- 4 days on site
- Support senior colleagues with tasks such as preparing corporation tax computations and returns, as well as advisory work including capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence, and transaction/restructuring reports
- Assist in developing junior staff through day-to-day support and mentoring
- Conduct tax technical research for wider projects
- Handle various tax-related administrative tasks
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives
- Help maintain relationships with clients, HMRC, and other professional services firms to deliver excellent client service
- Collaborate with audit teams on annual tax assignments
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a corporation tax compliance role
- ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and interest in studying for CTA
- Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge
- Fully conversant with compliance standards for tax and audit
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships quickly
- Professional and discreet in client care
- Experience with Alphatax is desirable
