- Assisting with the development and delivery of specialised interventions, such as speech and language therapy or occupational therapy programmes
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and fostering a sense of belonging
- Supporting students with SEN during breaks, lunchtimes, and extra-curricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Maintaining effective communication with parents, carers, and external professionals involved in supporting students with SEN
- Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN support

To be considered for this rewarding role, candidates should have:

- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, either in an educational or therapeutic setting
- A sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and its implications for supporting students with SEN
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of their work
