Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship facility, offering a wide range of sports and leisure activities for all ages and abilities. Our team thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment where every member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service.


We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our pools team. If you’re passionate about working in a leisure setting and committed to providing outstanding customer care, then we have the job for you.


To be successful in this role, you’ll need a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to customer service, and a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the pools complex and wider centre.


This is a casual position with flexible shifts available between 5:00am and 11:00pm, including weekends and bank holidays so flexibility is essential.
