Job Summary

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach – Athlete Performance Programme [Supply]

The Athlete Performance Programme delivers strength and conditioning services to local athletes, aged 12-18, who represent their sport from club to national level. The sessions are delivered before school [7am-8.30am] and occasionally during the school holidays.

Youth sport is multifactorial and can be challenging – which requires coaches to be adaptable, patient and motivating. As a coaching team, we believe in the importance of personal development, reflective practice, sharing of ideas and professionalism. By developing our coaches’ knowledge and experience within strength and conditioning we create a strong framework for delivery, resulting in both improved sporting performance and overall health and well-being for our young athletes.

Coaches applying to this role must have the skill attributes to work within a team, as well as being proactive and versatile as a coach.

Applicants should hold a minimum of a Level 2 Gym instructor qualification.

Rate of Pay: £13.64 per hour

Location: Allander Leisure centre / Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre

Closing Date: Friday 26th September 2025
