Working hours: 40 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedWAYfinder South is a community-based outreach service supporting individuals and households aged 16+ in Glasgow South who are at risk of, experiencing, or have experienced homelessness. The service offers flexible, trauma-informed support tailored to each person’s needs, helping them achieve settled and sustainable housing.We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Programme Manager to lead our team, ensuring high-quality, trauma informed, person-centred support that empowers individuals to move toward independence and stability. The service is designed to be accessible, responsive, and embedded within local communities, with a strong emphasis on prevention and seamless transitions between support levels Key Responsibilities: This role is central to achieving positive outcomes for our clients and service by achieving internal and contractual Key Performance Indicators. Along with the rest of the Management Team, the Programme Manager will promote a culture of continuous professional development, reflective practice, and a compassion that develops best practice. This role will deputise for the Service Manager when required.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Good working knowledge of developments in the homelessness sector including current legislationRole model the core values of the Salvation Army to ensure positive relationships across the service and an environment which fosters wellbeingDemonstrable experience of leading and managing staff, including recruitment, development and performance managementHave excellent verbal and written communication skills, including chairing meetings and working with external stakeholdersBe solution focussed, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.Good organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management, the ability to prioritise work, and be able to respond to tight deadlines, working both on an individual basis and as part of a teamThe ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with, and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army MissionIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK and Disclosure Scotland check/PVG.
