We are looking for creative, enthusiastic and innovative individuals who are qualified to PG Dip/Masters level and hold current registration with the General Optical Council. You’ll hold the same values as UWE Bristol, being ambitious, collaborative, inclusive. innovative and enterprising, these being demonstrable in your optometry practice.
You’ll have a high level of insight into contemporary optometry practice, with experience of teaching and assessment in higher education, or within clinical practice. A sound knowledge of the contemporary theories and concepts that underpin optometry practice is vital as is evidence of continuing professional development that you have completed in your current role.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre.

1 x full time permanent post.
1 full time, fixed term post for one year covering a period of maternity leave or the earlier return of the post holder.
1 x part time (0.8FTE), fixed term post for one year covering a period of maternity leave or the earlier return of the post holder.
The full time posts are available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time
This role is campus based for all of your with the opportunity to work from home occasionally.
