Do you have a passion for health, beauty, and wellbeing? From hair, nails, and self-care to wellness projects, advice, and confidence-building activities, we’re looking for Sessional Youth Workers – Health & Wellbeing to join our team at Base71 Youth Zone, opening in 2026.

You’ll deliver fun, engaging, and supportive sessions in our dedicated Health & Wellbeing room, which includes hairdressing chairs and a nail station. Support young people to build confidence and social skills through hair, nails, and other beauty-based activities.
Run health and wellbeing projects covering topics such as stress, self-care, and lifestyle choices.
Create an inclusive, welcoming environment where all young people feel safe and supported.
Encourage participation and ensure young people’s voices shape the sessions.

What you’ll bring:
Experience working with young people in health, beauty, or wellbeing activities (essential).
Practical skills in hair, nails, or beauty and/or experience delivering wellbeing projects.
Experience working with young people aged 8–19 (or up to 25 with additional needs).
Energy, creativity, and the ability to engage and motivate young people.
Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and health & safety (training provided).
