We are seeking an Experienced Social Worker specializing in Assessment and Child Protection to join our dedicated team committed to safeguarding and enhancing the lives of children and families in our community. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks in accordance with safeguarding procedures and policies.
Prepare detailed case reports and documentation for court proceedings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Develop and implement individual and family support plans in collaboration with other service providers and stakeholders.
Monitor and review case progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Provide emotional support and counseling to children and families facing crises or challenges related to child protection.
Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of child welfare issues and resources available to families.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in social work and child protection.
Requirements
A recognized degree in Social Work and current registration with the relevant professional body.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in child protection or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of child protection laws, policies, and best practices.
Strong assessment and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and build strong working relationships.
Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to advocate for children's rights and well-being.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £30.15
