Location: Newport (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £27,000
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
We're looking for a Norwegian-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Operations team. In this hybrid role, you'll provide exceptional support to customers and handle insurance-related claims with care and accuracy. You'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing enquiries, processing claims, and liaising with insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:

Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and efficiently

Accurately record insurance information from customers, brokers, and insurers

Ensure all data is entered correctly into internal systems

Build strong relationships with customers, brokers, and suppliers
-
Meet agreed response times and service level agreements
-
Maintain detailed case notes for team-wide visibility

Handle complaints in line with company procedures

Support and mentor new team members when needed
Claims Handling:

Review and gather information on reported claims
-
Evaluate coverage, assess documentation, and estimate losses
-
Maintain accurate records throughout the claims process
-
Liaise with insurers on high-value or complex claims
-
Follow up proactively to obtain outstanding documents or updates

Identify opportunities for subrogation or recovery
What We're Looking For:

Fluent in Norwegian (spoken and written)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

Problem-solving mindset with a professional approach to complaints

Prior claims experience is an advantage but not essential
