Summary

Norwegian Speaking Customer Service Advisor
Location: Newport (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £27,000
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:


We're looking for a Norwegian-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Operations team. In this hybrid role, you'll provide exceptional support to customers and handle insurance-related claims with care and accuracy. You'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing enquiries, processing claims, and liaising with insurance partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and efficiently

  • Accurately record insurance information from customers, brokers, and insurers

  • Ensure all data is entered correctly into internal systems

  • Build strong relationships with customers, brokers, and suppliers

  • Meet agreed response times and service level agreements

  • Maintain detailed case notes for team-wide visibility

  • Handle complaints in line with company procedures

  • Support and mentor new team members when needed

Claims Handling:

  • Review and gather information on reported claims

  • Evaluate coverage, assess documentation, and estimate losses

  • Maintain accurate records throughout the claims process

  • Liaise with insurers on high-value or complex claims

  • Follow up proactively to obtain outstanding documents or updates

  • Identify opportunities for subrogation or recovery

What We're Looking For:

  • Fluent in Norwegian (spoken and written)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

  • Problem-solving mindset with a professional approach to complaints

  • Prior claims experience is an advantage but not essential
