Commercial Operations



Working 25hrs per wk for any 5 days out of 7, this role will require you to work during the day and some evenings and weekends on a rota basis over 32 weeks University term time.



Summary of the role

This post will be operational across numerous locations within the Commercial Operations on Streatham and St Luke`s campuses, for a highly motivated and enthusiastic new recruit!



This role will primarily support our culinary operations working in our kitchens supporting chefs with general duties such as food preparation, washing dishes and stock rotation whilst assisting in other areas of commercial operations when required.



Our team is driven on providing an exceptional customer service experience. Staff and students use our facilities year round, along with external customers out of term time. Across the campuses we provide the following services; retail shops, retail catering, residential catering, licenced premises, hospitality, conferencing and events.



We are looking for customer focused, team players who can also work alone. A particular focus will be on providing exceptional customer service at all times with a passion for providing high quality food and drink.

You will demonstrate high standards and be well organised. Having experience in roles within catering, front of house, retail and kitchens, with knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety would be advantageous.



You will have a flexible approach to working hours and practices, as well as having excellent communication skill’s. The role will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness within a busy environment, in line with Food Safety plus Health & Safety requirements.
