Contract: Long Term - Temp to Perm (Term Time Only)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are looking for a patient and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Kings Norton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to make a genuine difference from day one.
About the role:
You'll be based within a dedicated SEN resource hub, supporting children in Early Years with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN), and children who are non-verbal.
The school promotes outdoor learning and therapeutic approaches, making full use of its extensive grounds to support pupils' development. You'll be working either 1:1 or with small groups to aid learning, promote communication and provide consistency in their daily routines.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a primary school, nursery, or SEN setting
- Experience supporting children 1:1, 2:1 or in small groups
- Familiarity with needs such as ASD, SLCN, and non-verbal communication
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
- A relevant TA qualification or related childcare/education degree
- A team player with a calm, proactive, and adaptable approach
