SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Whitley, Coventry (CV3)

About the Role:
A welcoming and inclusive school in Whitley, Coventry is looking for a dedicated SEN to join their team in September. You will be working across the whole school, supporting children with speech and language needs-both within classroom settings and the school's SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions across the school
- Support students in the SEN provision to develop communication and interaction skills
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to identify needs and implement strategies
- Assist in the creation and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Monitor and record pupils' progress in speech, language, and communication
- Promote confident communication between students, peers, and teaching staff
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Some experience supporting pupils in a school setting
- Knowledge or experience of working with SEN pupils is highly desirable
- Confident in delivering interventions and adapting communication methods to meet individual needs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
