What skills and experience we're looking for
The Ideal Candidate:
• CIPD qualification or equivalent degree.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and best practices.
• Experience working in an HR role, ideally within education.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, IT and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide HR support and guidance to school leadership and staff.
• Manage recruitment, including safer recruitment procedures, contracts and pre-employment checks.
• Manage employee procedures including absence management, flexible working, grievance and other practices and policies pertaining to employment.
• Maintain personnel records, including the single central record, the management information system (SIMS) and reporting starters, leavers, absence and overtime information to Payroll.
• Ensure policies and procedures align with employment law and safeguarding requirements.
