We are seeking a proactive Business Manager who will foster a culture of continuous improvement within our organisation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Operations for Direct Care to provide leadership and management for our care and support services.

Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the delivery of personalised care and support services to individuals with complex disabilities, ensuring that the service area and staff team adhere to all statutory requirements, professional guidelines, best practices, and relevant policies and procedures. It will be crucial to uphold the quality standards set by Sunderland Care and Support.

The Role;

As the Business Manager, your role will be pivotal in effectively managing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality social care services to a diverse range of customers with varying care and support needs. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our services consistently meet the highest standards of care, compliance and customer satisfaction. Leading a team of dedicated social care professionals, you will provide guidance, support and mentorship to foster their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of social care services in the designated area, ensuring strict adherence to relevant regulations and quality standards.
Devise and implement strategies, policies and procedures to optimise service delivery and enhance the overall effectiveness of our social care programs.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care and smooth service transitions.
Conduct regular assurance visits to monitor service quality, identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
Cultivate positive relationships with customers, their families and other stakeholders, promptly and effectively addressing any concerns or feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes in the social care sector and utilise this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in current legislation, regulations and best practices within the social care sector, striving to achieve an outstanding CQC rating.
Note: This role will require occasional travel within the assigned area and flexibility in working hours to accommodate operational needs.
