Crynodeb
Reporting to: General Manager
Job Purpose: Responsible for the Operational Management and Performance of the Amusement Device Inspections Procedures Scheme.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
• Business Administration qualification
• Good numerical and word processing skills
• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Friendly, confident, well presented and customer-focussed
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Web site development
• An understanding of the Amusement Device Industry
Desirable:
• Previous experience of accounting computer packages
• Previous experience of book-keeping and associated administration
• An appreciation of quality management systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management
1. Maintain an accurate and complete database of Amusement Devices in line with company policies and procedures.
2. Prepare and issue regular Management reports within the prescribed timelines.
3. Supervision of the Administration Support Assistant, to include prioritisation of workload, training and guidance.
4. Maintain complete files, manually and electronically, for all company activity in line with company policies and procedures.
5. Provide operational support to the General Manager and the Amusement Device Safety Council as required.
6. Manage the ADIPS website to ensure accuracy and relevance in line with the ADIPS Business plan.
7. Manage the ADIPS quality management system.
8. Manage the registered inspection body registration process.
9. Manage the registered inspection body quality audit schedule.
10. Ensure book-keeping for all ADIPS accounts is accurate, using SAGE as the accountancy tool.
Communication
11. Participate in staff and client meetings, as and when required.
Training & Development
12. Attend training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required.
13. SAGE training.
General
14. Ensure that all information of a confidential nature gained in the course of duty is handled appropriately.
15. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
16. A commitment to continuous improvement
17. Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you by the General Manager.
