• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have GCSE Grade C or above in mathematics or English or equivalent qualification
• Be willing to undertake regular training and professional development as and when required
• Have working knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
• Have a secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have the ability to teach the primary curriculum and the ability to teach outside of your specialism if required
• Remain calm under pressure
• Be committed to supporting the aims of the federation
