Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Tutor to support a student who has been permanently excluded from mainstream school in the Newcastle area. This young person is at the beginning of their educational journey and is looking for a tutor who can provide a safe, encouraging, and empowering learning environment.
Student details:
Age: 14
Location: within the home, NE25 area
Hours: 10 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Subjects: Maths and English
SEN: ADHD, ASD, global learning delay
Interests: Football, Art,
Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
Tutor Requirements:
- You need to have at least 1 years' previous experience teaching/supporting young people in a UK educational setting and be able to provide references to support this.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application
- Hold the right to work in the UK
