Pay: £455-£480 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in the classroom?
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wyken, Coventry is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils across the classroom, particularly those with additional needs.

About the Role:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting class learning and promoting positive pupil outcomes. You will work closely with the class teacher and may be required to provide additional support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting whole class learning alongside the class teacher
- Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs
- Assisting pupils who may require extra support to access the curriculum
- Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and progress

Candidate Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a school setting
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience supporting children with SEN ( Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
- A proactive, caring, and flexible approach to supporting students' needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
