We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher to start in September at this school praised by Ofsted for its "outstanding leadership and capacity to improve," and for providing "highly effective teaching and learning."
- Plan, develop, and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the specific needs of each student.
- Employ specialized instructional strategies and use appropriate technologies to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers, professionals, and parents to support the holistic development of students.
- Assess and record students' progress and adapt teaching materials and methods to meet their needs and abilities.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on special education.
- Experience in a SEND setting is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and effective teaching methodologies for students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
