They are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs, including ADHD, SEMH, and ASC. This role is due to student expansion!
- Provide tailored support to students diagnosed with ADHD, SEMH, ASC, and other conditions, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and engage students in their learning activities.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within an SEN setting.
- A strong understanding of the needs of students with ADHD, SEMH, ASC, and other special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and professional demeanour.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
