Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning of all pupils assigned to you, focusing on their progress, welfare, and outcomes.
- Supervise and guide any support staff working with your pupils.
- Provide leadership in a curriculum area, including monitoring standards, contributing to school planning, and supporting professional development of peers.
- Advise the Head of Education on resources and materials and lead professional development activities.
- Uphold and promote the school's values, ensuring they are integrated into daily practices and teaching methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide support and guidance to other staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
