Qualified Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
Temporary contract – initially until the end of the academic year – with the prospect of a permanent contract thereafter for the right candidate.
10.33 hours per week (0.2410 FTE)
£25,584 pro rata
This post is for 2 days per week - Thursday and Friday. Granby is a village school in the heart of the city, providing an opportunity for the right candidate, in a friendly, supportive and child-focused context. The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint an excellent SEND teaching assistant to join our team, qualified to at least Level 2. Start date 21st August 2025.Granby has a fascinating history and is housed in a Victorian building, which opened in 1889. Whilst it is clearly of its time, we offer contemporary facilities and equipment to provide the best in current educational provision. With around 460 children on roll, and a staff of over 80 people, we are a thriving school at the centre of our local community.The successful candidate will:
