Summary
Qualified Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 2 child with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
Temporary contract covering maternity leave, likely to be for up to one year.~

The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint an excellent SEND teaching assistant to join our team, qualified to at least Level 2. Start date 21st August 2025.Granby has a fascinating history and is housed in a Victorian building, which opened in 1889. Whilst it is clearly of its time, we offer contemporary facilities and equipment to provide the best in current educational provision. With around 460 children on roll, and a staff of over 80 people, we are a thriving school at the centre of our local community.The successful candidate will: • nurture and cherish the children, promoting their safety wellbeing and learning
• build positive relationships with children within a restorative framework
• be creative, enthusiastic and resourceful with a passion for teaching and learning
• have a strong commitment to inclusion with high expectations for all learners
