Are you an enthusiastic and resilient Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to make a real difference?
We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our dedicated team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) within a Alternative Provision Centre at a vibrant secondary school in Shropshire.
This is a full-time, term-time only, permanent position – ideal for an ECT who thrives on building strong relationships, supporting individual learning journeys, and creating positive change in the lives of young people.
About the Role:As HLTA in our Alternative Provision Centre, you will:

Support and lead learning activities for students who benefit from a more personalised and nurturing approach.

Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral leads to support pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs.

Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support to promote engagement and progress.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for learners who need additional support to thrive.
What We’re Looking For:-
An Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a non-traditional but rewarding route into education.
