This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a brand-new Alternative Provision site, supporting small groups of students with special educational needs. You will join a dedicated and highly supportive team where ongoing professional development and career progression are available for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about making a difference in students’ lives

  • Inspiring and empathetic

  • Skilled in building strong, positive relationships with students who require re-engagement with learning

  • Confident in managing behaviour and communicating effectively

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored learning sessions to small groups

    • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and development

    • Take the lead in pupil supervision and attend to individual needs

    • Foster constructive relationships with parents/carers in collaboration with class teachers

    • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils

    • Use your skills, training, and experience to assess individual pupil needs and support their learning journey

    • Coordinate and deliver 1:1 mentoring support where appropriate

    • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure student success

The role begins in September 2025, full-time during term time only. Applicants must hold a Level 4 qualification or equivalent. This role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher eager to begin their career in a supportive, pastoral setting.

Interviews will take place at the school in the coming weeks.
To be considered, please submit an up-to-date CV detailing your recent experience working with and supporting students.

Educate-Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be subject to thorough background and reference checks.
