PRI is structured as a cross-organisational function that supports all areas of the council’s corporate plan. PRI comprises three teams (People, Place and Core) working across various thematic and technical projects. These teams focus on data governance, research, data analysis, performance monitoring, and intelligence gathering to inform service delivery and decision making.

The team are also responsible for the Council’s statutory function for Street Naming and Numbering (SNN). They ensure compliance with national standards, processing applications for new or changed addresses and street names. This involves collaborating closely with local communities and external organisations such as Royal Mail/GeoPlace to ensure accurate and consistent addressing practices.
