SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Coventry, CV1
Weekly Pay: £515 - £530
Hours:
* Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8:15am to 4:15pm
* Wednesday - 8:15am to 4:45pm
* Friday - 8:15am to 3:45pm
(Term Time Only, 37 hours per week)
Start Date: 01/09/2025
Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm
Long Term Futures are searching for a nurturing and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Reception child diagnosed with ASD in a specialist, well-equipped resource hub at a welcoming mainstream primary school in central Coventry. You'll join a supportive SEN team with experienced Teaching Assistants and a dedicated SEN teacher. This long-term role offers the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.
What the school is looking for:
* Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
* Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
* Confident supporting SEN including ASD, speech and language, and communication needs
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from the class teacher
* Familiarity with EHCPs - monitoring, updating, and reviewing progress
* Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum
