• A desire to be the very best teacher you can be!
Children at The Hythe are looking for a teacher who:
• ‘A teacher that’s not too bossy but knows a lot so we can learn a lot’- Y3
• ‘A teacher who helps us when we need them’- Y2
• ‘Someone who takes us outside to learn about things in the real world’- Y4
• ‘A teacher who is funny and friendly and helps us with our reading’- Reception
About us:
• Polite, motivated and friendly children
• A well resourced school
• An SLT who consider and prioritise staff well-being and career development
• A supportive and thorough ECT programme
• Bespoke CPD opportunities
• Forest school experience alongside a trained Forest School practitioner
• PE specialist teacher to cover PPA

We welcome applicants to visit the school and meet with a member of SLT. Please contact Hannah McKenna (Assistant Head) h.mckenna@hythe.surrey.sch.uk to arrange a visit.
Applications will be reviewed on receipt and interviews will be held as required. Early application is therefore recommended and the school reserves the right to close the advert on appointment of the post.
The Hythe Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and the successful applicant will be registered, as required, with the relevant body.
